Exciting Update!

Over 13 young golfers have already signed up and are eager to start their summer with a swing! This shows the high level of interest and trust in our camp, assuring a dynamic and interactive environment for all participants.

Camp Schedule Details

Our camp runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the following weeks, Monday through Thursday:

• Week 1: June 24 - June 27, 2024
• Week 2: July 8 - July 11, 2024
• Week 3: July 15 - July 18, 2024
• Week 4: July 22 - July 25, 2024
• Week 5: July 29 - August 1, 2024
• Week 6: August 5 - August 8, 2024

Camp Cost and Registration

The cost for each week of camp is $295. This fee ensures your child will receive top-quality instruction in a supportive and fun environment.

For families registering 4 to 8 children, we offer a 'Secure Now, Pay Later' payment option. This allows you to secure your places with a partial payment and settle the balance prior to the camp start, making it more manageable for larger families or groups to ensure their summer plans.

A study examining the relationship between the rotational movement of hips and the lumbar spine during the golf swings of professional golfers found a high coupling relationship between these movements. The study concluded that the contribution of hip rotation markedly achieved rotation movement in the downswing phase. This insight is crucial for golfers as it highlights the importance of hip rotation in attaining an effective golf swing. Understanding these mechanics can help prevent injuries and establish effective treatment strategies, ultimately helping you improve your golf game.

As parents, our role goes beyond simply being spectators when our junior golfers step onto the course. We have the power to make a profound impact on their experience and growth as athletes. Creating a good experience for my PGA Junior League players involves several factors, including providing a fun and engaging environment, promoting teamwork, and focusing on skill development. Here are some key points of focus and areas I wish to emphasize for this season.

1. Emphasize Fun: Ensure Golf Upgrades players enjoy themselves by making the experience fun and engaging. I plan to incorporate age-appropriate games, challenges, and competitions that suit their skill level.

2. Encourage Teamwork: PGA Junior League is a team-based program, so fostering a sense of teamwork and camaraderie among our players is essential. Encouraging positive communication, collaboration, and good sportsmanship will be our primary focus.

3. Promote Skill Development: Develop our players' skills by providing age-appropriate training and practice sessions. In addition, the coaching staff must offer opportunities for players to improve their putting, driving, and chipping skills.

4. Create a Positive Environment: Ensure our players feel supported, valued, and encouraged. Celebrate their successes and offer constructive feedback when needed. Create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and appreciated.

5. Set Realistic Goals: Work with our players to set realistic goals for the season. This can include individuals.

6. Communicate Effectively: Keep parents and players informed of upcoming events, schedules, and any changes. Ensure that communication is clear, timely, and accessible. Again, the organization will be a crucial component here.

By following these principles, we can create a positive and engaging experience for our PGA Junior League players that will help them develop their skills, build friendships, and foster a love of the game.

Each parent bringing their kids to team matches will need to get clearance to drive on base to Miramar Golf course where our juniors will get free range balls and free green fees. Parents will be granted a 90-day golf pass after (2) successful visitor center visits. 

Team Golf Upgrades first on-course practice with Coach Jacob will be held at Lomas Santa Fe Executive Golf Course. This practice will help the kids of the team by exposing them to the golf course instead of hitting balls at the range. We will be doing a scramble format. Details are below:
