Choose a 30- or 60-minute private lesson at Sorrento Canyon, a 30- or 60-minute private lesson at Miramar, or the Thursday junior group. New students can also book the active 50%-off first-lesson offer.
Where are lessons held?
Lessons are offered at Sorrento Canyon Golf Center and Miramar Golf Course in San Diego. Select the location you want when booking.
How much do private lessons cost?
At Sorrento Canyon, 30-minute lessons are $80 for adults and $60 for juniors. Sixty-minute lessons are $150 for adults and $100 for juniors, with additional students at $20 each. At Miramar, 30-minute lessons are $55 for military golfers and $65 for civilians; 60-minute lessons are $110 for military golfers and $130 for civilians. See the pricing page for the full comparison.
Do I need access to MCAS Miramar?
Yes. MCAS Miramar access is required for lessons at Miramar Golf Course. If you do not have access, choose a Sorrento Canyon lesson.
What should I bring?
Bring your golf clubs, comfortable golf attire, water, and any questions or goals you want to work on. Arrive ready to warm up and learn.
Are golf balls or equipment included?
Golf balls are not included with the first-lesson offer. Check your Calendly event details for the session you choose. If you need equipment, contact Golf Upgrades before booking so availability can be confirmed.
Are junior lessons available?
Yes. Juniors can book private lessons at Sorrento Canyon. A junior group also meets Thursday from 4:00–5:00 PM and is limited to four players.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Use the cancellation or rescheduling link in your Calendly confirmation email. If you need help, contact Golf Upgrades directly.
How do I pay?
Sorrento Canyon lessons can be paid by Zelle, Venmo, or cash. Miramar lessons are paid directly to the Miramar pro shop.
Do lessons use video or launch-monitor technology?
Video and launch-monitor tools may be used when they help explain a swing or measure progress. Availability can vary by lesson and location.
