What is Golf? 

Golf is a sport in which players, referred to as golfers, use various golf clubs to hit a golf ball into a hole. A series of golf holes in one general location is considered a golf course. When a golf swing is made with a golf club that strikes the golf ball, this is referred to as a stroke. The goal of golf is to get the golf ball in the hole in as few strokes as possible. In other words, your golf score is how many golf strokes you take during the course of the round. Unlike bowling or basketball, the lowest score is the best score in golf.
