A first golf lesson should make the game clearer, not more complicated. You do not need a polished swing, a low handicap, or technical vocabulary before you arrive. The lesson begins with your goals and your current game.
Golf Upgrades offers personalized coaching with Jacob Williams, PGA Associate, at Sorrento Canyon Golf Center and Miramar Golf Course. Sorrento lesson options appear first in the booking flow, and Calendly is the source of truth for current availability and lesson details.
Choose the location and lesson length that fit your needs. A focused 30-minute session can work well for one priority. A 60-minute session allows more time for assessment, explanation, guided practice, and a take-home plan.
Miramar is located on MCAS Miramar, so base access is required. Review the current access process and leave additional arrival time if you select that location.

Arrive early enough to find the lesson area and handle any facility check-in. PGA of America’s beginner guidance recommends telling facility staff that it is your first visit and asking for help getting oriented when needed.
