Centeredness of Contact or "center contact" is the exactness with which the ball makes contact on the golf club's face relative to the percussion point or sweet spot.
Horizontally, ball contact can be on the center, toe, or heel. Vertically, ball contact can be above or below the sweet spot.
If you are not hitting the ball in the center of the club face, this will impact many other ball flight laws. Because of this, centeredness of contact is essential to keep in mind when evaluating the impact conditions that created the ball flight.
